I first became aware of the Multicultural Student Center during the Fall of 2020, where they had virtual events. From there, I would attend their book clubs to engage with the organization. From there, I decided to apply for the executive board. I was selected as the culture director, where I helped plan events regarding our heritage events and multicultural identities.

I decided to apply for another term at the Multicultural Student Center, where I was selected as the Assistant Student Director. From there, I was able to assist the Student Director, Coordinator, and director of Civil Discourse and Engagement. I also did events such as Taste of Downtown, World's AIDS Banquet, Holi, Taste of Rosen, Women's Market Day, and AfroKnight.

The Multicultural Student brought community and pride within my identities and allowed me to be more involved in social justice. It made me a better event planner and educated me on our different communities at UCF. Spending two years on this board gave me lifelong friends and connections I will always appreciate.
