Leadership and Student Involvement
By being involved at UCF, I've had the privilege to be in leadership through many different avenues. Whether through different committees such as the College of Sciences Ambassador program, going up to Tallahassee to defend reproductive rights, or the Multicultural Student Center, it's been a privilege to interact with the greater UCF Community. I look forward to the potential involvement I will have in graduate school once I am enrolled in a clinical or counseling psychology Ph.D. program.
There's a quote that states that leadership is an action, not a position. These different roles have allowed me to dive into action and learn more about myself and how I want to portray myself as a leader. As I am solely in the workforce, I feel that my academic endeavors related to leadership have allowed me to give back to the Orlando community and be an active participant in it.
