Black Health Commission

As the former Community Engagement Coordinator for the Black Health Commission, I focused on Village Talks, BHC's monthly programming. Village Talks are an opportunity to bring our community together to talk about important topics that go on in our world.  We have discussed Black love, mobilization, being Black in the workplace, and more essential topics. I handled the marketing, such as social media posts and newsletters, to uplift our Village Talks and other events we may have during the year.

Through Village Talks, I have met many amazing people looking to be plugged into the community and plug others in too. The Black Health Commission doesn't seek to recreate the wheel with our programming, but it seeks to bring people together and share existing resources in our community.
